WWW not-actually-Wednesday – 19th January 2017

So, as I mentioned yesterday, I’m currently working night shifts at the hotel and, consequently, each shift is technically spread over two days…

…so me, being the unobservant person that I am, failed to notice we’d entered Wednesday. I came home at 6am, went to bed, awoke at midday and happily went along until about 8pm when I realized it was indeed Wednesday and I hadn’t done my WWW Wednesday.

Oh well. Better late than never, eh?

I’m reading this based on the recommendation of one of my favorite authors. It’s another one of my attempts at interchanging my paranormal romance reads with the odd ‘conventional’ romance. If you count a rock star romance as conventional, of course.

Recently finished reading

You can check out my review for A Street Cat Named Bob here. I absolutely adored this heartwarming tale about the unbreakable bond between a man and his cat. Definitely the book to read when you’re in need of some uplifting.

Next on my reading list

After seeing an awesome review for A Monster Calls, I decided that it’s going to jump the line on my TBR list. As much as I adore paranormal romance, 2017 is going to be the year I branch out a bit and read things I wouldn’t normally read. I’ve just ordered this with Amazon Prime so it should be arriving tomorrow!
